Advanced Silicon Group (ASG) is developing the next-generation biosensor. This innovation has numerous potential applications that can help ensure everyone has access to better health care.
ASG’s biosensor can simultaneously measure the concentration of many proteins and is fast, simple, and inexpensive to use.
We are dedicated to making a positive impact on society through our work. From advancing medical research to providing real-time health data, we are committed to using our expertise to create a better future for all.
Because the ASG Nanoswift™ biosensor is silicon-based, measures electrically (vs. optically), and has a smaller form factor, we expect it to carry a 15X lower cost than an ELISA test.
Electrical measurements deliver a faster result than optical measurements in a test defined by the time for the protein to bind to the antibody — typically less than 15 minutes.
3 Easy Steps:
1. Expose sensor to solution.
2. Rinse.
3. Insert into the handheld testing system, which communicates with the computer and displays the protein concentration.
Our innovation of silicon + electrical measurement enables many small subsensors to be packed onto one chip and be isolated from each other. As a result, a single silicon biosensor can perform many different protein tests.
