Engineering Technician

Overview

Will build and test nanowire biosensors working with our R&D team. Will run all manufacturing processes from nanowire formation to functionalizing the sensor with antibodies. This position is full time and located at our facilities in Lowell, MA.

Job Duties

· Operate a variety of semiconductor processes (sputter, evaporation, wet bench, furnace, lithography, etc.) in clean room environment to build biosensors

· Perform electrical and microscope inspections of sensors 

· Expose sensors to proteins to evaluate performance

· Assist with keeping the laboratory running smoothly

Skills

· Strong work ethic

· Reliable

· Safety focused

· Previous experience working with acids

· Silicon processing experience

· Willingness to learn how to modify surfaces with proteins
